Castle Course
St. Andrews Castle Course is another remarkable gem in the golf-rich landscape of St. Andrews, Scotland. Opened in 2008, it is one of the more recent additions to the prestigious portfolio of courses in the area. While it is not as old or as widely known as the famous Old Course, the Castle Course quickly earned a reputation for its challenging layout and stunning views of the North Sea and the iconic town of St. Andrews.
The New Course
Described as a traditional links course, with narrower fairways, strategic bunkering, and fast, undulating greens. Its design emphasizes precision and shot making, requiring golfers to be both accurate and thoughtful in their approach. The course layout is more compact than the Old Course, but it still features some of the defining characteristics of links golf, such as coastal winds, firm fairways, deep pot bunkers.
